Windows Phone Connector 1.1 Released for Mac

Microsoft says it has fixed a high CPU utilization problem in certain sync situations and has included some performance improvements across the application.
Microsoft Delays Major Windows Phone 7 Update
Microsoft has decided that it will take some more time in releasing the much anticipated Windows Phone 7 mobile platform update to make sure that it doesn’t suffer from the same fate as the previous update for the platform putting the company in an embarrassing position. The new update has now been delayed till the end of March this year. The compromising situation arose last month when Microsoft released a regular minor “under the hood” update for its mobile platform which was supposed to aid in the further upcoming updates of the operating system which included the one which gave the phone cut-and-paste functionality.
Nokia Will Receive $1 Billion From Microsoft As A Part Of The Deal
According to news coming in from insiders, Nokia Ovi will receive more than $1 billion from Microsoft as a part of the Finnish company’s software deal with the software giants in order to develop and promote mobile phone handsets which will run on the Windows Phone 7 platform. One of the sources, who preferred to stay anonymous as no official contract has yet been signed, also claimed that the terms include Nokia paying Microsoft a premium for each copy of the Windows Phone 7 operating system that it uses in its handsets, and that these costs will be offset by the fact that Nokia has cut down on its own budget for software development and research after the deal.
New Update For Samsung Phones On Windows 7 Still A Headache For Users
Feedback from Windows Phone 7 users who are on a Samsung handset suggests that the much talked about glitch in the update process of the software which affected Samsung users specifically still hasn’t fully been resolved after new updates from Microsoft.It’s only been just over a day since Microsoft finally resumed its update push for the Samsung devices running on the Windows Phone 7 platform; however the users have reported problems arising after the process.
Angry Birds Coming to Windows Phone 7 April 6
Last Thursday Microsoft announced the official release date of Angry Birds for the up and coming mobile platform. April 6th will be a very unproductive day for many of those Windows Phone 7 owners out there, unless you have played it before you can’t quite grasp the highly addictive nature of the game. Not only that, but a few other high profile titles will be making their way to Microsofts phone.
