Even though the reception of Devil may Cry has been overwhelmingly negative due to the reboot of Dante’s personality, powers, origins, and looks, every gameplay video turns a few naysayers to the other side.
Max won’t be hitting the mean streets of Sao Paulo until March but that doesn’t mean you can’t get excited for it now. Though with the flurry of titles that will be spewing out over the next two months it will be hard to even think about a game months off. The trailer does show some in game footage as well as some cut scenes just to give you a feel for the new Max Payne.
The upcoming Sonic Generations got a trailer that shows off new zones from the Genesis era. This confirms the existence of the following zones: Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1, Chemical Plant Zone from Sonic 2, and Sky Sanctuary Zone from Sonic and Knuckles. Also shown is a brief appearance of Metal Sonic who was the Sky Sanctuary Zone boss and a boss in Sonic CD. Video after the jump.
Goku fights against the main antagonist of the first Dragonball Z story arc, Frieza, in the upcoming, high-quality fighting game without those annoying interruptions; video after the jump and it’s beautiful. A full five minutes of pure action against a difficult opponent that puts up a solid fight against the Super Saiyan.

Typically, I don’t just post trailers for games unless there is other big news to go along with it. However, after watching the new trailer for Battlefield 3 that is just packed with jets, robots, jeeps, helicopters, explosions, more jets, and even more crisp looking explosions I just had to make sure it is seen!
Sony’s PlayStation exclusive Uncharted franchise will be seeing a third instalment arriving towards the end of the year, amid much excitement from fans. And why shouldn’t they be excited? The Uncharted series has managed to deliver excellent, plot-driven game experiences since the word go. This, combined with truly high-end visuals and great voice acting, not to mention tons of really addictive action, has become a hallmark of this much loved set of games.
It was, everyone will agree, inevitable. Although The Sims: Medieval perhaps left a little to be desired in terms of its game ideas, anything with the name “Sims” on the cover turns into gaming gold when it comes to sales… and so a follow-up to the original release was never really in question.
At the Ubisoft press conference, they showed off a quick teaser for Trackmania 2: Canyon. It is best to describe Trackmania 2 as an “MMO racing game” and the creators of the game talked about the games ability to create tracks with giant unrealistic loop-de-loops and massive jumps and share them with friends.
As leaked earlier this morning, Microsoft is producing two new Halo games. While Halo 4 only appeared in a brief teaser trailer that ended with a vague 2012 launch date, more concrete details regarding the remake of Halo 1, entitled Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, have emerged: the game will be available on November 15, 2011, and will feature all the same campaign and multiplayer levels as the original Halo, but remastered with new graphics and competitive and co-op online play over Xbox Live.

Namco Bandai had shown off some brief gameplay demos last year at GamesCom 2010 and this lead to the belief that the game would be released sometime in 2011 as no firm release was given. Now, it has been announced along with a pretty intense debut trailer that the release will in fact be February 2012.
