For all you Metro 2033 fans, the super unique and unexpected title for the next game has been announced and confirmed as “Metro 2034″ however, some new information suggests that THQ may change the name so it can stick to the “Metro 2033″ name everyone is familiar with.
It was only 22 years ago when the iconic and much referenced River City Random (Dauntaun Nekketsu Monogatari in Japan and Street Gangs in PAL regions), was released for the Nintendo Home Entertainment System or as the kids call it these days, the NES. Jump back to March 18th 2011
The sequel to 2008′s monochromatic adventure is nearing release and THQ has dropped the usual launch trailer to build some more excitement. The most interesting thing about this sequel is that it growing outside it’s Nintendo and mobile bounds and will be coming to XBLA and PSN as well as the Wii, DS and 3DS. It will be released February 22 in North America,February 24th in Australia and 25th in Europe.
Batman….what a guy. I always wanted to be Batman when I was kid; Arkham Asylum brought that dream to life last year. Upon being released in an odd time of the year, Arkham Asylum swept the video game world with much praise.
Rocksteady studios, was quick to announce that the game would have a follow up; this was made clear at the VGA’s. Until now many of the details have been cloudy. Warner Bros and Rocksteady have registered new domains names, these are some that have stood out “Arkham City”, “Ashes of Gotham”, and “City of Arkham”. The game is supposed to carry a darker tone and feature classic villains like Mr. Freeze. Those names listed above are a few of 15 potential names, Im sure we will hear plenty more on this title as the fall grows closer.
