Samsung Galaxy Nexus To Come Without AMOLED Plus Display
Recently, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, also deemed to be the Google Nexus Prime at one point in time has taken center stage in the smartphone market as the new big thing after the Samsung Galaxy SII and the iPhone 4S, which was released a few weeks ago. There were a lot of rumors surrounding the Nexus Prime and most of them had to do with the fact that it was being used to bypass all the legal sanctions imposed by Apple on Samsung.

The next Android release from Verizon, called Samsung Stratosphere is scheduled for release on October 13th. Until last week, only rumors about its specifications and features were floating around the internet but on 2nd October, Samsung had officially released all the details, and one must say that it is pretty impressive.

Smartphones and a lot of other portable devices are out to get a little faster and better and some of them might even become better photo takers. Samsung announced today the latest and the quickest modification of the Exynos mobile processor. The new one is labeled the 4212 and it is the ARM Cortex A9 processor clocked to a whopping 1.5GHz.
Verizon takes Samsung’s side in legal battle
The current raging battle between Samsung and Apple has become a hotspot and other companies are getting involved in it too. The first among the third parties to worm its way into the legal mess is none other than Verizon, which has filed a request with the court, which if granted will flush out the injunction Apple is seeking on the ban of sales of Samsung products including Infuse, Galaxy S, the Droid Charge and the signature Galaxy Tab 10.1. The permission has been filed by the wireless carrier in the Northern California’s court of the United States District Court system.
Samsung Galaxy Note all set for November release in UK
Samsung had announced earlier this month about the possible release of the Galaxy Note, a hybrid between a tablet and a smartphone. This raised some eyebrows, mainly because of the size after the Dell Streak hit the market and didn’t win too much favor. However, now Samsung has made it official that it will go on sale, at least in the UK in November and this means Asian and American markets shouldn’t be too far behind.
Samsung Wave III For October Release
The recent popularity of the Bada proprietary operating system from Samsung is probably what caused the mobile telecommunications giant to confirm the release of yet another Bada device. The smartphone in question is the Wave III and it will become the flag carrier for this operating system. The release is scheduled in October and this was confirmed by an anonymous executive of the company at the Bada Day in India. There was considerable speculation that Samsung will be busy with a smartphone release in Q4 but October is an even better date!

Sony Ericsson seems to be failing miserably at its attempts to keep its prized Xperia Duo under cover. The phone, however, promises to be far from a failure, if the recently leaked press shots are to be believed. The phones specifications, although yet to be confirmed by Sony Ericsson, provide evidence that SE has pitted the Xperia Duo head to head with the Samsung Galaxy S II.
