Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Has New Release Date
The much delayed Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has yet another release date, hopefully it’s the last one. Back in June Ubisoft mentioned a March 2012 release and it seems that many retailers have not confirmed this but narrowed it to March 6th. Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Gamestop and Wal-Mart all seem to agree on this. Though it’s not an official announcement this is as good as one.
iPhone 5 to be revealed on Oct 4th
The next big event related to Apple on the calendar is scheduled for October 4th. This is allegedly the date for the unveiling of the iPhone 5 but for now it is only unofficial as Apple executives seem tongue tied about the rumors. However, the grapevine has it that the actual announcement will be made by Tim Cook who is going to conduct the entire event on that day. In addition to Mr. Cook, the event will be graced by the presence of Philip Schiller of the Worldwide Marketing department, Scott Forstall from the software department and Eddy Cue who has recently taken over the Internet Software and Services division.
Crysis Console Release Date Announced – Crysis Landing On Consoles Earlier Than Expected
It has been a few weeks after the Electronic Arts formally announced the introduction of Crysis to the Xbox 360 and PS3. The former PC-exclusive, superbly popular sci-fi first person shooter was being prepared for distribution through PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade with a projected window in October. Earlier, EA has revealed the exact Crysis console release date and surprisingly, it will launch sooner rather than later.
Star Wars: The Old Republic Release Date Comes After Star Wars: Galaxies Shuts Down
Star Wars fans don’t need to be sad when Star Wars: Galaxies gets shut down on December 15, as it will be quickly replaced with another Star Wars MMORPG just a few days after. Sony Online Entertainment has announced the availability of Star Wars: The Old Republic on December 20 and fans can continue playing a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the Sci-Fi Universe created by the legendary George Lucas.

After Blizzard Entertainment scrapped their Starcraft II follow-up to the popular Warcraft III mod – Defense of the Ancients, Valve’s own full size take on the genre and successor to the mod is going full steam ahead. The change of plans to the release of DOTA 2 was announced earlier today on Valve’s official DOTA 2 blog saying that Valve has reconsidered the original release plans for the Action Real-Time Strategy game and is now looking to for an earlier launch.

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Batman: Arkham City have gone gold and will be available for mid-October release, while PC gamers are left to wait for a few more weeks. Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment confirmed the gold status of the game’s development earlier today – at least for the two consoles. Once again, – as it has always been – PC gamers are left to wait longer for another game release.

Sony To Launch “Head-mounted” 3D Visors: 750 Inch Screen Mounted On Your Head – Release Date Confirmed
The revolution has definitely started after Sony showcased their futuristic visor, which seems strikingly similar to the visor Cyclops(X-men)wears, during the Computer Electronics Show (CES) earlier in January.
