Sony announced yet another update for the Playstation 3 consoles, which should be arriving very soon. In case you were wondering what it adds it’s not much. As posted on the Playstation Blog it will improve “system stability during use of PS3 format software and network services”. That’s it. Hopefully when it does come it won’t take more than a couple minutes to download and install, which is notoriously never the case for these frequent updates.
Infamous 2, the sequel to the Playstation exclusive franchise, had been released in stores on June 7 in North America and was planned to hit the Playstation Store around the same time. The hackers that downed the whole PSN are to blame for this lengthy delay in digital release.

According to a source, the development partners of Sony have been told by the company that the online marketplace which serves the titles and extras for PS3 and PSP will make a return on the 24th of May, that is, next Tuesday.

The dreaded Archdemon has been slain and the advance of the darkspawn halted by a lone, heroic Grey Warden. The kingdom rejoices, but at least one question remains: what happened to Morrigan?
