According to Kotaku, from insider information, Dragon Age will be getting the multiplayer treatment. This rumour is not entirely far off as Bioware has included mutiplayer in their 3 iteration of their popular sci-fi RPG, though this makes less sense to me, in terms of gameplay. The mutiplayer will include PVP and PVE interactions as well as the ability to fight, and play as, a dragon (awesome if true).
I sat down and played through the whole Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign (because it looks like three, maybe four other people did as well and I kind of wanted to even the playing field) in five and a half hours. The following are my thoughts on the campaign in its entirety.
Modern Warfare 3 has been leaked a large degree in the recent days, along with a shipment in France getting snatched up and probably winding up on the market somewhere. The official launch is extremely close so it’s not as big a deal as people seem to be making it out to be. Bioware has been hinting at a large announcement for their Sci-fi, RPG, shooter, that is set to drop October 25th in the latest issue of XBox world. It has been speculated that that announcement will be the multiplayer component of Mass Effect 3. The case for it is growing stronger as a pre-order bonus has been discovered that mentions an online multiplayer pass.
This is why we can’t have ni- oh wait, I read it wrongly. To give thanks to all the participants in the Resistance 3 beta, Insomniac Games are giving them the Bowman’s Insult in the form of the Double Bird taunt and a Hale skin. Players who have participated in the beta test of Resistance 3 received an email that details everything. Players who log onto Resistance 3 between now and the end of the beta will get two goodies for free. The first goodie being a Hale skin that you can use, and getting the Hawaiian Good Luck Sign as a taunt.
Anyone who plays online games know that PvP communities are among the worst communities on the internet. Everyone is angry, whiny, and incredibly aggressive. They are also easy to bait, and trolls have a field day upsetting them to the point they smash their monitor.
The Killcam feature used in several first-person shooters will be in Battlefield 3, a feature that is quite controversial among gamers for quite a few reasons, usually those who are hindered by it.
