To celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, SteelSeries has created a brand new mouse, specifically designed for the game. Featuring 14 programmable buttons, a 150 fps sensor, and a size that puts other mice to shame, it certainly creates an impression. That’s not to mention its steampunk-like aesthetics and orange LEDs that glow through the top of the case.

Now I don’t play WoW at all but this sure looks like a nice mouse!

Razer Releasing Tron Mouse, Mousepad Provides Glowing Trails

I am not all that excited for the Tron movie, which will surely be all the rage of the holiday season, but I am certainly excited for some Tron themed technology. Most specifically the Razer Tron Mouse which also has an accompanying mouse pad that tracks the most of the mouses’ laser to provide some light trail action. Razer has made a video demo for us, but it doesn’t quite tell you how the mouse feels. The only spec we have right now is that the mouse delivers 5600dpi accuracy.

Arc Mouse Fully Unveiled

It first appeared a couple days ago on a German online store. The Arc Touch Mouse is Microsoft’s answer to Apple’s Magic Mouse, but it has a couple tricks that may prove to be a fair competitor. The mouse itself uses Blue Track technology, meaning it can be used on just about any surface. Another interesting feature is it’s ability to lay flat or ‘arc’ to make t more comfortable to use, as is exemplified in the picture below. Its final feature is a 2.4GHz nano transceiver that no doubt plugs into your laptop’s USB port. Yours soon, for €69.99 according to the site and may be retail for around $69.95 in North America, no precise release date has been mentioned.
