Tron Evolution Multiplayer Trailer

Tron: Evolution,  the bridge between the 1982 film and the 2010 sequel Tron: Legacy, is soon on the heels of release and new information is bountiful. Little was known about the multiplayer aspect of Evolution, but its cover has been blown and a video trailer has been created to show of many of the different gameplay types and includes a player progression system, upgradeable weapons, and driveable vehicles.

FlingSmash Bundle Includes Wiimote with Motion Plus Built-in

FlingSmash, an interesting little puzzle/adventure game for the Wii, that was to be release this summer. Now that original release date has come and gone the only thing Artoon have to show for it is the new Box art. The box art is certainly not going to attract many adult gamers, but it is still interesting because it shows off the new Wii remote Plus.

The Wii Remote Plus appears to be a standard Wiimote at first but upon closer inspection it is slightly longer right under the blue lights. Which means that the controller has the enhanced motion sensing built right into it. Perhaps the release of this new device is the reason by the games delay, which has been pushed back to a November release.

TGS 2010: Steel Battalion Heavy Armor Kinect Exclusive

A big surprise out of the Tokyo Game Show this was all the Kinect-enabled games for actual gamers and adults. Steel Battalion Heavy Armor, which I am most looking forward to, is a Mech-Warrior type game in which you control giant fearsome machines, called Vertical Tanks. Of course you get to take advantage of the controller-free environment when controlling these monstrosities, though very few details of the actual mechanics were announced.

Resident Evil Gold Edition is Ready to Move

As most motion controller enthusiasts may be already aware, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition would be getting the ability to use motion controls. Now, Sony has released an update to prepare the game for the forthcoming Move controller. The update is of course free of charge, and will work with the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5 only. Move is out tomorrow, so update now so you can just pop in the game and play with 1:1 precision aiming. I am sure a Kinect update will be following sometime soon.
