Rock Band 3 Still Exists, New Bundles Available

Last year’s Rock Band 3 is getting a second chance thanks to peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz, who today announced three new bundles for the most current iteration of Harmonix’s flagship rhythm game. The first bundle packages the game with the Fender Mustang Pro Guitar (the more “realistic” axe that features over 100 buttons to simulate real frets and strings,) for $150 dollars, while the second and third bundles give you the standard six button controller or its bass guitar variant for the much more affordable prices of $70 and $80, respectively.

PS3 Owners Won’t Be Getting Rock Band 3 Keyboard Bundle in NA

“Agreement terms” seem to be the keywords for the lack of keyboard bundle coming to North America alongside Harmonix’ Rock Band 3. Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 gamers won’t be given the option to purchase the Rock Band 3 keyboard bundle, in North America at least. In a post to its official message boards, Harmonix confirmed that the bundle will not be offered in the region, though European PS3 gamers will not be affected by the move.

If you have checked out the Rock Band music store lately, you were probably surprised to find Snoop Dogg – newly available for download. It may seem strange having a rap/hip-hop artist in Rock Band, but, in my opinion, Snoop Dogg makes a perfect fit. They’ve featured some of his older hits as well as new ones. 6 New Songs Announced for Rock Band 3

This is probably old news to those for those who follow Harmonix on Twitter and even less exciting to those of you who were actually at Comic-Con this year but it is some exciting news, for me at least. SDCC: Dance Central New Songs and Mode Announced

Dean Tate, Dance Centrals lead designer, was at Comic-Con this year along side the Harmonix crew to announce a couple of things coming to his game. First he had to show off the game by having a a producer from Harmonix perform “Bust a Move” by Young MC, on hard. she four-starred her performance and put on a great show. A video of it will be up shortly.

The first announcement from Dean was two new songs: Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and Salt ‘n Pepper’s “Push It.
