In tough economic times like these, it’s not unwise to tighten your belt and cut your expenditures down to the bare necessities. Of course, what qualifies as a “necessity” is open to interpretation: while some (sane) people make paying the rent or making sure they have food to eat their top priority, my personal need to be entertained overrides any basic survival instincts. Twitch.tv – Watch Games With a Purpose!
A few years back when the ability to stream and broadcast content on the web was really picking up, I discovered a site called Justin.tv. The site allows users to broadcast their own content to a open viewer base from around the globe. This ability to stream content has progressively moved from streaming movies and tv shows, to live concerts, personal video streams, and more recently the ability to stream live video games. This is where this service really grabbed my attention.

Cliff goes on to say that this announcement will get everyone talking, but does not goes as far to say what type of announcement this is.
