Battlefield 3 Trailer Makes You Warm and Fuzzy Inside

Battlefield 3 Trailer Makes You Warm and Fuzzy Inside

Typically, I don’t just post trailers for games unless there is other big news to go along with it. However, after watching the new trailer for Battlefield 3 that is just packed with jets, robots, jeeps, helicopters, explosions, more jets, and even more crisp looking explosions I just had to make sure it is seen!

E3: Forza Motorsport 4 – In The Drivers Seat

E3: Forza Motorsport 4 – In The Drivers Seat

The Forza Motorsport series, game-after-game, just constantly gets better and Forza 4 definitely shows that off the most this year. My first run through of the game with just a standard controller and a surprisingly low quality Sharp TV left me fairly unimpressed with the look of the game, but still enjoyed the shorter line to try it out. Hours after waiting in another line, I finally got my hands on a custom built motion controlled version of the game with a TV actually capable of doing 1080p and there is nothing that can be said about this game other than “breathtaking.”

Gears of War – New Announcement on the Way – VGA Promises to Unravel the Details

A few weeks ago we began talking about the future of hardcore titles on Kinect, and shortly after rumblings of a potential Gears Kinect title was rumored. Cliff goes on to say that this announcement will get everyone talking, but does not goes as far to say what type of announcement this is.

Bulletstorm – New Gameplay… Cannon Balls Anyone?

Bulletstorm – New Gameplay… Cannon Balls Anyone?

Not much has been seen in the world of Bulletstorm due to the excellent fall lineup of game ahead of us, but I figured this video must be seen by FPS fans. Bulletstorm is a great throw back FPS that remembers what it means to shoot big guns at bad guys, and also introduces classic action game mechanics like an electric leash and a melee kick.

38 Studios New Title Unveiled at comic-con

38 Studios New Title Unveiled at comic-con

Copernicus now has an official name! It is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning; and it is being developed by Ken Rolston, written by R.A. Salvatore (Morrowind, Oblivion) with art director Todd Mcfarlane (Spawn) and Curt Schillings (former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox) over seeing the project. Everyone listed above was present at San Diego ComicCon this year to discuss the details of the game and they all seemed very passionate about it. Todd actually jumped up on the table at one point while describing the battle elements.

The game at it’s base appears to be a fantasy RPG, a very ambitious one by the sound of it. It will have vast worlds akin to the Elder Scrolls later iterations. It was also hinted that the world would actually change overtime in a realistic fashion. The trailer that was shown was very short and simple, it consisted of a warrior battling demonic skeletons and casting magic while also weilding a magical sword of light. It was not gameplay graphics but it was beautiful to watch.
