Disney Accidentally Announces Epic Mickey 2

According to Game Informer, Disney announced a sequel to their popular, million-selling Wii adventure game Epic Mickey in a newsletter, possibly before they intended too, as the information was put up on Disney site StitchKingdom.com, then quickly taken down once word got out. Thankfully, some fans managed to copy the info and get some box art on the upcoming multiplatform title before it was taken down.

Kingdon Hearts 3D(Dream Drop Distance) is dropping in North America and Europe in 2012

This make come a little surprise considering the popularity of the Kingdom Hearts series outside Japan, but even still, Square-Enix officially announced that Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance will be released to PAL and NTSC-U regions sometime next year, after its March release in Japan. This entry in to the series promises to add more new features beyond the glasses-free 3D.

Arguably the most popular animation company of all time, Walt Disney Co., has bought the website which had long been called the “Facebook for kids”, Togetherville. This move seems to be perfectly aligned to the stance taken by Disney in the investor’s conference it held last week which was aimed at dominating the market for those websites whose target users were mothers and children and of maintaining high visibility in social media.

Tron Evolution Multiplayer Trailer

Tron: Evolution,  the bridge between the 1982 film and the 2010 sequel Tron: Legacy, is soon on the heels of release and new information is bountiful. Little was known about the multiplayer aspect of Evolution, but its cover has been blown and a video trailer has been created to show of many of the different gameplay types and includes a player progression system, upgradeable weapons, and driveable vehicles.

The Wii game that everyone should be excited about is making me even more excited with its opening cinematic. If you are unfamiliar with Epic Mickey then this cinematic will give a good intro, obviously, into what the story is all about. The game itself is a unique platformer that involves Mickey adventuring across ‘disney land’ with a paintbrush, to restore the colourless state of the world, that Micky himself had unknowingly caused. So, sit back and enjoy this 3 minute opening, and then look forward to it this holiday.
