Zune has quite a soiled history in Canada but it seems that is changing slowly but surely. The MP3 player created by Microsoft took almost two years to reach America’s northern ally and even then the Marketplace and Zune Social were available to the early adopting Canucks. Though, it seems something went wrong and that all went away and become US and UK exclusive features in 2009.
The Canadian Private Copying Collective are trying to have a copyright tax added to memory cards. They claim they’re used for the purpose of copying and transporting music and should be subject to the taxation.

If you have a 40GB or higher Playstation 3 and live in Canada, and you wished you had a slim model or just a new system, well good news. Gamestop is letting people trade in PS3s to get $200 Canadian credit towards any purchase of a Playstation 3.
Good news Canada. The long awaited ExoPC tablet is now open for preorder. This 11.6-inch tablet has a multitouch capable screen and runs on Windows 7. This device was originally only open for the first 1,200 fans, and will set you back a pretty penny. The 32GB tablet will be running for CAD $649 (around $624 US) and the 64GB version of this tablet will run at CAD $749 (around $720 US). Disney Interactive Studios announced a collector’s edition of TRON: Evolution will be available at retail. The TRON: Evolution collector’s edition package will include an exclusive TRON light cycle collectible based on the in-game model from TRON: Evolution. The light cycle model is being created by renowned collectibles manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles. Available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the collector’s edition will be packaged in a special protective casing with a drawer for the game.
