More Free Mass Effect 3 DLC Coming on April 10

Earlier this week Bioware announced that they would “expand” Mass Effect 3′s divisive ending with a new DLC chapter that will hopefully get the legions of angry fanboys on the internet to put down their pitchforks. In a further gesture of good will, Bioware will also be providing the game’s first multiplayer expansion, entitled the “Resurgence Pack” for free as well.

Mass Effect 3 Gets An “Extended Cut” Ending As Free DLC This Summer

It’s hard to talk about Mass Effect 3 without bringing up its mess of an ending. As I stated in my review, it’s a damn shame that ME3 managed to screw up it’s conclusion while pretty much getting everything else right, and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way. I liked Mass Effect 3. I hated the ending. Regardless of this policy’s age, Origin has apparently been doling out refunds for the game.

Gorgeous Looking “The Banner Saga” Gets A Kickstarter

In the wake of Doublefine’s record breaking success in crowd-sourced funding, it seems like every developer is turning to Kickstarter in order to get their games made. But don’t group Stoic Studio’s The Banner Saga in with the rest of the bandwagon jumpers. If this game ends up playing as well as it looks, then it’ll definitely be worth your time and donations.

EA Claims From Ashes DLC Character for Mass Effect 3 is not on the Disk. False.

DLC is controversial, on-disk DLC is something I believe is breaking a law somewhere, forcing people to fork over money to use something they have already bought. EA made this comment over on-disk DLC. Their response to a recent request for info was basically “We have already commented on this matter”.
