Recently, ASCII magazine spoke to an annoymous Sony representative about a couple concerns that potential consumers had with the Playstation Vita. One of the big concerns that they had was over the downloading via Vita’s optional 3G connection, there good news and some bad news with this unfortunately. The good being that a 3G version of the Vita is still set to release with the other versions.
Square-Enix PS Vita Software Pricing Announced
Square Enix, the biggest RPG games company in Japan, has recently announced their pricing plan for PS Vita games through the Army Corps of Hell Twitter account. The game will cost ¥4,980($60 USD) for the boxed version and ¥3,990($50 USD) for the downloadable edition. This likely reflects the cost of other titles to be released on the handheld.
Ruin is a ‘Social’ RPG for PS Vita
PS Vita already has quite a strong foundation of games announced before launch and that is likely going to lead to it its success, despite some issues with the battery. Ruin(working title) is another title that really shows off the potential of the Vita, not inly in graphical prowess but in social connectivity, such that could only work on an always connected device(3G).
Gravity Rush, a PS Vita Exclusive
At the Tokyo Game Show this year Sony was very excited to show off their new hardware, the PS Vita, and they want to make it known that it will have software worthy of the hardware. Gravity Rush is one of the titles that really seems to show off the power of the handheld, as the physics of gravity are quite complicated and the whole game is based off this premise.

Black★Rock Shooter licensed for the US by Nippon Ichi
Okay this is gonna need backstory. Black Rock Shooter is an original character by the artist Huke, a black-haired girl with ivory skin and a blazing blue eye, possessing a very distinctive style of dress. She is quite a popular character in Japanese pop culture, especially among Vocaloid fans and Artists. A song of the same name by Supercell has had a single OVA based on it, and is getting a TV series. A Black★Rock game will be released today or tomorrow in Japan, and Nippon Ichi, creators and publishers of many Japanese games like Disgaea have the rights to bring it to the US and Europe.
