What will be at E3 for Sega
Sega releases 3DS trailer of the new title in the Shinobi series.
After eight years since the last entry in the arcade and home console Shinobi series, which has appeared not only in arcades, but also on the Genesis and the PS2, the ninja master is back, and he is going to kick some ass.
For those not in the know, Shinobi is traditionally a side-scrolling game in which you play a ninja who uses swords, shurikens, and powerful jutsu to obliterate the Japanese crime syndicates composed of ninjas, disguised assassins, shadow dancers, and military soldiers. All of them excellent games.
Sonic Generations Covering More Ground on PC and 3DS
Sonic Generations, Sega’s answer to criticism and 20 years of Sonic games has been announced already for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It seems Sega wants to expand their user base even further by releasing the game on PC and the 3DS, which is pretty exciting news. All versions will be released in the Winter 2011 window, likely all on the same day.
Green Lantern 3DS debut trailer
With the release of the new Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters movie coming up it was only a matter of time before an official game for the movie was debuted. After the break, you can catch the trailer for the game being release on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and 3DS on June 10, a little over a week before the release of the movie in theatres June 19.
Australia Gets Ocarina of Time 3D Ocarina Edition Exclusive
An ultimate Zelda fan must have has just gotten a Australia only release date. EB Games Australia has listed a store-exclusive Ocarina Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.
Cave Story 3D Confirmed for August Release
Last Week at a press event held by NISA in San Francisco that had announced the North American release date of Cave Story 3D. Many were under the impression that the title would launch late June, but it has been confirmed that it will be released August 9th.
Dead or Alive Dimensions wont be in Sweden due to child pornography laws.
Okay this makes me want to add a “WTF” tag. Dead or Alive is a fighting game series well-known for having some very impressive females, with a huge amount of outfits ranging from typical ninja outfits, to Japanese schoolgirl uniforms, and a very impractical swimsuit that leaves little to the imagination. Fetish fuel everywhere. And it’s too hot for Sweden.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D US Trailer
Capcom recently unveiled a very interesting trailer for one of the most anticipated 3DS games of this year. The trailer itself isn’t very long but it does show off how impress the 3DS tech is and what it can actually do. Though it can’t show how well the 3D is implemented but if you are a Resident Evil fan then it is likely that it won’t take much to sell you on this impressive looking title.
3DS Lower Screen Causing Scratching on Upper Screen
A number of users of Nintendo’s 3DS have been reporting issues with their top screens becoming scratched with no external cause. It was first reported on the gaming forum Neogaf, but has since become far more widespread and a simple google search for “scratched 3DS screen” will show. Nintendo has yet to comment on this but retailers are aware and some are replacing the damaged units.
Nintendo DS still outselling its successor
Despite its clearly superior technology, some very highly anticipated titles, and fantastic innovation that has come to be expected from Nintendo in the previous decade (as well as backwards compatibility), the DS is miraculously outselling the 3DS by a significant margin.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gameplay footage recorded from a 3DS
Hunting about the internet, I came across a video of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time being played on a 3DS and I have to say I’m very impressed with what they have done. The narration is in German but I can easily point out the highlights you can discern from the video after the jump.
Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card Spotted at Best Buy
Since the Nintendo 3DS has launched it seems the early adopters have been getting the shaft with lack of any first party games or the eShop. But don’t fear! the retailer Best Buy has started stocking up on the prepaid Nintendo 3DS eShop cards.
