Sony Launches an Anti-Kinect Site

Sony, being the clever people they are, decided to push their button-filled motion device by bashing it’s competition. This is certainly not something new for Sony as they have also gone against the Wii and iPhone in a similar fashion. If you are curious to see their genius in action head on over to www.yaybuttons.com and check it out for yourself. It is essentially an interactive picture of the Move controller that displays a quote every time you click on one of the buttons. Some of the quotes might seems a little silly if you were to view the page on a touch screen interface, but it’s still amusing.

It may seem strange having a rap/hip-hop artist in Rock Band, but, in my opinion, Snoop Dogg makes a perfect fit. They’ve featured some of his older hits as well as new ones. Vanquish Demo Impressions

Vanquish is one of those games that just seems to fall by the wayside in the press and public knowledge, partly due to it’s style and publisher. It is developed by Platinum Games, a company known for releasing underground hits such as Mad World, Bayonetta and even lesser known Infinite Space. Though all of these games have received much praise they seldom sold well outside of Japan, and Vanquish looks to be no different. It is quite evident that it is a Japanese developed shooter, with a very similar feel to that of Lost Planet.

I’m not sure if many people were aware that Mafia 2 already has a downloadable add-on just two weeks after its release date. In Jimmy’s Vendetta you play as Jimmy, a gun for hire always being brought on to clean up people’s messes but in typical mafia fashion you get betrayed by the ones who hired you and now is the time to seek revenge on those bastards.

MAG Gun Peripheral for Xbox and PS3

G-Mate is a little known company that is likely to get a lot of exposure in the coming month, thanks to their new gun controller. The controller itself is a futuristic style gun with the words MAG emboldened on it, and all the necessary buttons within fingers reach. Now despite the name of the peripheral it will work on Xbox 360 and PC as well as the PS3, and is not limited to any one FPS. The only thing missing from this device is a second analog nub, and as crazy as it may sound, it is not needed as the gun itself is used to turn and look much like you may be used to in Wii shooters.

TRON: Evolution Collector’s Edition And Release Date Announced

Disney Interactive Studios announced a collector’s edition of TRON: Evolution will be available at retail. The TRON: Evolution collector’s edition package will include an exclusive TRON light cycle collectible based on the in-game model from TRON: Evolution. The light cycle model is being created by renowned collectibles manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles. Available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the collector’s edition will be packaged in a special protective casing with a drawer for the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Multiplayer Details and New Trailer’s – Updated

When the initial teaser trailer for Black Ops multiplayer surfaced, we mentioned that a full reveal would be on its way shortly. Well today is that day and their is plenty to talk about thanks to a press event held by Treyarch.

First up is combat training, this looks to be a multiplayer training mode using bots and can be played on multiplayer maps. This seems like a great alternative to online play, but the mode still captures the essence of unpredictable online play.
