Online games in general have a large amount of unlockable and optional content in order to keep the players interested in it beyond the usual gameplay which can get repetitive fairly quickly. Battlefield 3 isn’t going to be an exception, with 100 hours of gameplay needed to unlock everything.
Modern Warfare 3 Trailer reveals major change to Killstreaks
A trailer released by Activision has shown a change to the killstreak system for those playing in Support Mode. If you die, it wont be reset. What this means exactly isn’t too clear but I’m interpreting that as you get consecutive kills even if you die. They have also changed their name to Strike Packages.
Bethesda has improved their Bug Testing for their Open World Games
The problem with open world games is that you have to define a massive range of objects, including debrie, walls, dungeons, stairs, it’s not like a level in an FPS where you’re mostly railroaded into everything within a contained environment. All open world games are notorious for their bugs, especially collision detection bugs, but Bethesda have gone out of their way to iron those out for Skyrim.

DICE gives more Battlefield 3 details
DICE has revealed details on Battlefield 3′s singleplayer mode along with the length in hours. Lead Designer Goldfarb said “I would say it’s a pretty decent length, it’s not Skyrim but it’s not three hours or anything like that.”, when comparing it to Modern Warfare 2 which is estimated at six hours, he said “I’d say it was probably slightly more than that. Based on our play-times it’s probably more than that, but it’s not twice as long. But, again, we’ll see. When you play it on hard difficulty, it’ll take a lot more time.
