Apple recently released the developer’s preview of the latest version of its PC operating system OSX 10.7, called the OSX Lion. A number of features sported by this new release were highlighted by the company in its developer page; these include the Lion Server which is an option for Recovery HD to replace the need for an installation DVD. The new system allows for wireless sharing of files and documents on devices such as the iPad. Apple has also announced that the new OS X will support full screen apps; these will allow developers to display their apps on a Mac in a similar way as they are displayed on the iPad.

Disney Buys Togetherville
Arguably the most popular animation company of all time, Walt Disney Co., has bought the website which had long been called the “Facebook for kids”, Togetherville. This move seems to be perfectly aligned to the stance taken by Disney in the investor’s conference it held last week which was aimed at dominating the market for those websites whose target users were mothers and children and of maintaining high visibility in social media.
It’s The Legend of Zelda’s 25th Birthday
In 1983, the video game industry was dead. Driven into the ground by years of shovelware and market saturation, the giants of the industry, like Atari and Mattel, had all but abandoned the idea of home consoles as a fad whose time had come and gone. It wasn’t until years later, when a relatively unknown Japanese toy and playing card company by the name of Nintendo took a gamble and released the original Nintendo Entertainment System, that videogames would go from being regarded as unpopular toys and become the legitimatized form of media and art they are today.
Will Duke Nukem Forever hold up in todays gaming market?
Duke Nukem Forever is almost here, but will it still hold up after all these years?

Can Duke compete with Call of Duty, or even Medal of Honor or Battlefield? Absolutely not, why should it?.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the talks for “Dark Knight Rises”
There has been much buzz about the third installment of the Batman trilogy. Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle (or as many as you know her, Catwoman), and Tom Hardy as the juggernaut of Gotham, Bane. Well, it would seem as though Christopher Nolan reached into the talent found in Inception, and is heavily favoring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
