According to Andriasang the 3DS Virtual Console will be expanding beyond Nintendo portables to include the Sege Game Gear. Though currently slated for release on Japan 3DSs next month, there is little doubt that a Europe and North American release will be following shortly.
At the Nintendo Direct conference where the announcement was made, Nintendo also unveiled the launch titles:
- Shinobi
- Sonic & Tails 2
- Dragon Crystal Shirani’s Maze
I suspect these and more will be available in the West by fall.
