Best Buy has partnered with Nintendo to create the “Nintendo Zone” at select locations. The “zone” apparently allows 3DS owners to connect to the eShop, play games online, and trade info with other 3DS owners… which basically just makes it sound like any other regular wi-fi hotspot. But if you take your 3DS down to the Nintendo Zone this week and you’ll be rewarded with a coupon that will get you 50% on a selection of 3DS games.

The games available in the deal are Rayman 3D, Steeldiver, Pilotwings Resort, Madden, and Asphault 3D. Sure, none of these titles represent the cream of the crop on the 3DS, but if you’ve already rushed your way through Mario 3D Land or Mario Kart 7, you can now get your next 3DS fix at a substantial discount. Steeldiver and Pilotwings Resort aren’t the deepest experiences out there, but at 50% off, they’ll provide more than enough decent entertainment to keep you sated until the next round of triple A 3DS releases.
