Main stream gaming has just gotten so much better with nVidia releasing their second chip into the “Fermi Family.” Should ATi be worried about this?

Following numerous delays, the Fermi 100 was released and reviewed with jaded enthusiasm of an audience that had already seen ATi/AMD bring a similar product to the market long ago. The new chip, the GF104, aims to appease mainstream gamers need for high-end graphics. Makes sense that nVidia would release a chip into the overly saturated market and competitive market that ATi/AMD has made.

Xbox Live Arcade – Summer Release Dates

As the Xbox live arcade grows older and larger, the more the content tends to impress me. Over the years, the XBLA has been an excellent source for high quality affordable gaming; with the ability of making it all happen via download from the couch.

Game quality and creativity continues to get pushed to the limit by small and independent game developers, this is a great way to start off in the industry. The following games that are listed represent the summer releases that you will see grace your Xbox dashboard over the next few months.

Remember each of these titles is worth $15, and is well worth the price. Don’t just tell yourself it’s a downloadable game that I’ll never play, live a little. Usually a demo or trial is available before purchase on most of these games, so I imagine if your on the fence a free demo might make you run out and grab those points.
